Oct. 13, 2024: Lost and Found

On October 13 we held an event about Ella Honderich’s “Lost Sketches of Topaz”; but it turned into a joyous occasion where more seemed found than lost.

Valerie Honderich, Ella’s daughter (left), came all the way from Oregon to attend the event. Valerie was born in Topaz and is pictured in this photo of Ella sketching outside. Cynthia Wright (right) shared her grandmother Ella’s life and the surviving photos of Ella’s sketches that she has been able to track down.
