“After the War: Photos”

A senior Japanese American woman, microphone in hand, stands to address the audience. Behind her is a screen with the title "Topaz Stories," and a photo of row of barracks in the middle of a desert.

The event was held in conjunction with the Berkeley Historical Society’s “Roots, Removal and Resistance: Japanese Americans in Berkeley” exhibit, which has been extended through August.

Three senior Japanese American women smile into the camera. Behind them is a wall covered with exhibit posters, and several people are reading the panels or standing around, chatting.

Many thanks to the Berkeley Historical Society for hosting us (in particular, Jeanine Castillo, Elina Juvonen, and all who were involved in creating the fabulous exhibit). Apologies for the belated sharing of photos from the event!
