This week Topaz Stories features three more stories about kids in camp.
“Visit to a Civics Class” tells of a visit made by Roy Iwata and other members of the Topaz High basketball team to a local high school’s civics class.
Mich Aoyagi was a typical kid in camp, and he writes about his painful memory involving Topaz “Ant Hills.”
A child’s doll, carried to camp by Ibuki Hibi Lee, is a witness to history in David Izu’s poem, “Doll with Eight Band Aids.”
