We have three articles to share with you this week. One is a blog post on the Rosie the Riveter Trust website: “Remembering the Japanese American Incarceration–Day of Remembrance,” featuring the Topaz Stories program we had there in February. Unfortunately, the video that was shot of the event was too dark and so will not be shared. But it’s a nice article, with links to the stories that were shared in the program.
Thanks to Kathy Kojimoto, who gave us a list of media contacts in Utah, there were two articles featuring the Topaz Stories Traveling Exhibit in Park City: “Topaz Stories mines the history of a Japanese-American internment camp” in the ParkRecord, and “Topaz Stories exhibit travels Utah showing human side of WWII internment,” on ksl.com.
Thanks to Molli Fagan (Rosie the Riveter Trust), Emma Everett Johnson (ksl.com), and Scott Iwasaki (ParkRecord) for helping us spread the word!
