Sept. 27, 2025: JAMsj Program Photo Gallery

On September 20, four Topaz survivors shared the stories of their families’ WWII experiences at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose. The program was presented by the Friends of Topaz Museum in conjunction with their exhibit, “Topaz Stories: Children Behind Barbed Wire.”

The featured speakers were Joe Nishimura, Norm Hayashi, May Saito Takashima and Michi Takeshita Mukai. Toru Saito, May’s younger brother and also a Topaz survivor, kicked off the program with a song.
