Join us for our first event of 2024: “Topaz Stories: Through the Eyes of Children.”
What was it like to be a child in a U.S. concentration camp? How did the experience impact later lives? The Topaz Stories Project is honored to present four Topaz survivors who were children or teens in camp during WWII. Norman Hayashi, Michi Takeshita Mukai, Joseph Nishimura, and Kazuko Oyamada Iwahashi will share their stories during and after the war and answer questions.
When: Saturday, February 24, 2024, 1-3 p.m.
Where: Rosie the Riveter Visitors’ Center, 1414 Harbour Way S., #3000, Richmond, CA 94804
Update (2/10): The event is sold out, and the waiting list is now closed. The event will stay at the Visitors Center theater. We will make every effort to get those on the waiting list into the event, but we can’t guarantee seating. Thank you so much for your interest.
