The Topaz Toddler Project
In 1945 a few scrapbooks of art by Topaz preschoolers were presented to Tomiko Takahashi Sasaki, the Supervisor of Topaz Preschools, by teacher Alice Okita Abe. The scrapbooks were carefully packed away and rediscovered 70 years later. Today, the Topaz Toddler Project is tracking down “Toddlers” to hear their stories and reunite them with their art.
