SEPTEMBER 15 (1942)

NEWSPAPER LAUNCHED A staff of two, Henri Takahashi and Lily Tamaki, began work on the newspaper in order to get it out in time for the arrival of the first contingent from Tanforan on the 17th.

“LUMBER RAIDS — Despite warnings from the lumber committee, a few volunteer workers made raids to secure not only wood but nails.”
